Residents Appreciate Area Arrangement in RW 08 Pasar Minggu

The featured area arrangement program for the rirst quarter 2024 on Jalan TB Simatupang, RW 08, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta was appreciated by the public.

One of the residents, Andi (45) said the arrangement program is expected to make the environment more orderly, beautiful, clean, and provide comfort.

"This work is very good. The Jalan TB Simatupang area will become more beautiful and can be a source of entertainment for road users, especially during traffic jams," he expressed, Friday (3/1).

Jati Padang Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Yandi Trisandi explained the arrangement of this area was also a form of Jakarta's support towards a Global City.

"We need to improve as soon as possible. We organize the areas, thus Jakarta can become a barometer of a metropolitan city that is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and neat," he explained.

He added it was executed on a land as long as 32 meters with 5.5 meters wide.

"It involves ten personnel of PPSU assisted by personnel of other related regional apparatus organizations," he added.

According to him, the work has now reached 70 percent. It is done by creating a park equipped with ornamental plants, family medicinal plants, Betawi houses, and various typical Jakarta murals.

"We'll also create reflexology stone facilities to make it easier for residents who want to undergo therapy. Hopefully, the benefits of this area arrangement will be felt by residents," he stated.
